as I slept last night
my rest
was filled with emotions,

a longing heart
and wishful soul
a spirit
that wants to love,

in sweet whisper
to wake me,

thoughts you shared
made me believe
it was real,

love of you
and what we`d do
when we
held each other

so close,
no interruptions
pure intensions
souls locked
in an embrace,

you told me
what I needed to hear,
your emotions
lined up with mine,
together on
the same page,

life so beautiful
when you have a mate,
could it be
that emotional dream
that comes
to fruition at night,

a new life
a new love
a new start
of the greatest adventure,

you and I both believe
that this would happen soon
enough, faith and desire
will lead us to where
we wish to be,

the night goes on
and the love so deep
